HOPSports, Inc. is committed to the fight against the childhood obesity epidemic in the United States.  
 

HOPSports recognizes that change and progress requires involvement and participation from all members of society.  From schools and community centers to children, their parents and their teachers, HOPSports engages public and private sectors, including for profit and not-for profit entities to increase wellness awareness and provide opportunity for sustainable healthy lifestyles.   
 

To achieve this end, HOPSports is vigorously committed to helping schools and community based organizations secure funding for the HOPSports Training System (HTS). Throughout the year, HOPSports identifies grant opportunities that are available at the national, state and local level that regularly provide free money to fund various wellness advancement projects. HOPSports works actively with schools and organizations to assist with planning and write grant applications.

CLOROX - Grants for School Program National Grants

Any idea for a new school program or existing program in need of funding is eligible to enter Power a Bright Future. Nominations should clearly explain how the grant money would be used in one of three categories: Learn, Play and Create. 

 
Nominations in the "Learn" category can include education-focused program needs, such as supporting a recycling program at school to educate students on the importance of sustainability. 
 
Nominations in the "Play" category can include sports or exercise-focused programs in need of funding, such as physical education programs or the installation of a playground to encourage health and fitness for kids. 
 
Nominations in the "Create" category can encompass arts-focused programs, such as funding for after-school music or theater programs.

IMPACT Health Care (Improving Access to Health Care) Grants Program Florida

Who can apply for an IMPACT Health Care grant?

 

The Blue Foundation makes IMPACT Health Care grants to the following types of organizations:

 

  • Organizations recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
  • Public agencies, including state and local governments (for example, health departments). A public entity may serve as a fiscal agent for a charitable organization or be part of a coalition or consortium applying for funding.

 

Who is not eligible to apply?

 

The Blue Foundation does not consider grant requests from:

 

  • Individuals
  • Fundraising events or celebrations
  • Political or lobbying organizations
  • Fraternal, athletic or social organizations
  • Religious organizations for religious purposes
  • Type III Supporting Organizations
  • Private foundations
  • Organizations that do not directly serve Floridians
  • Organizations outside Florida
  • Organizations to finance health care services through insurance or other coverage mechanisms.

Pepsi is giving away millions in grants each month to fund great ideas. Pepsi is looking for people, businesses and non-profits with ideas that will have a positive impact.

 

The purpose of this document is to assist you in writing your Pepsi Refresh Project grant. We have created this document to assist you in making the case for the use of HOPSports as a vehicle for meeting the needs of your program. Nothing detailed herein can substitute for a very careful reading of the Pepsi Refresh Project application instructions and the supplementary toolkit. It is important to have many people involved in the brainstorming phase of writing your grant and to collaborate with all involved parties to ensure maximum success.
