We recently received information regarding the Dannon Next Generation Nutrition Grants. Funds are available to non-profit organizations in Salt Lake County, Utah; Tarrant County, Texas; Westchester County, New York; and Shelby, Mercer, Darke, and Auglaize counties in Ohio.

Program Focus: Dannon will award grants of $30,000 each to four nonprofits for programs that support childhood nutrition education and promote healthy eating habits among children within each of the four communities where a Dannon facility is located — Salt Lake County, Utah; Tarrant County, Texas; Westchester County, New York; and Shelby, Mercer, Darke, and Auglaize counties in Ohio.
Eligible Applicants: To qualify for funding, organizations must be designated as 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and must already be engaged in a nutrition education program for children up to age 18, or be able to launch such an initiative in 2010.
